We understand that any increase in fees can be difficult for families, and the GDST does not take these decisions lightly. The annual fee increase reflects rising costs faced across the education sector, including staffing, energy, catering, and essential services. These pressures affect all schools, both independent and state funded.
The Trust works hard to keep fees as affordable as possible by managing resources centrally, negotiating Trust-wide supplier contracts and absorbing a proportion of cost increases.
Our priority is to ensure long-term financial sustainability while continuing to deliver the excellent education and opportunities for which GDST schools are known.
